How it works

This method is similar to having a tutor sitting next to you however the lesson is conducted live over the internet using interactive whiteboards and an online telephone system (webcams are optional).

The student and tutor can talk to each other and they can both write on the computer’s shared whiteboard using either a mouse, or preferably a digital pen which makes the process more natural.

The tutor will be able to display worksheets and past exam papers on the screen for the student to attempt. The tutor can view everything the student writes in real time and vice versa.

The lesson can be saved so the student has a record of everything that was covered. The lesson notes can therefore be referred to outside of lesson time, or in future lessons.
