Tutors will adhere to the Maths Doctor Tutor Code of Conduct.

Tutors will keep Maths Doctor fully informed of an`y changes in contact details or personal circumstances which may affect their ability or suitability to teach.

Maths Doctor can collect feedback from referred students and add these to a tutors file.

A summarised version of my Maths Doctor tutor file can be viewed by students or their parent/guardians.

Child Protection Policy

To become a verified tutor, it is necessary to provide photo ID such as Passport, Driving Licence, or professional employment photo-card (photocopies or a digital scan are acceptable) as well as a current photo to be displayed on your tutor profile.

Tutors can apply for enhanced levels of Child Protection Validation with the objective of eventually becoming a Fully Verified Maths Doctor Tutor. To work as a tutor for Maths Doctor it is not necessary to be fully verified, however it will be made clear to all prospective clients what your exact status is. Fully verified tutors enjoy a stronger demand for their services.

To become a Fully Verified Maths Doctor tutor under our Child Protection Policy tutors are requested to provide the following:

  1. Your full contact details such as land line, mobile, email and address. These will not be made public.
  2. Proof of your current address. (photocopies or a digital scan)
  3. An up-to-date CRB. (photocopies or a digital scan) If you do not have a CRB you will be invited to apply for one through Maths Doctor.
  4. Copies of all qualifications held which you intend to mention in your profile. (photocopies or a digital scan)
  5. A reference dated and addressed to Maths Doctor from an employer, university professor or other recognised professional. (Original)

All documentation is dealt with in the strictest confidence and will not be made public or shared without first seeking your consent. This process is overseen directly by the Child Protection Officer, Simon Walsh and is conducted under the highest standards of data protection.
