Independent Tutors
Maths Doctor provides a framework for selected tutors who wish to operate independently of our assessment, curriculum and quality control systems. This however implies the tutor has sufficient experience and qualifications to self manage.
To be considered as an independent tutor you will usually be a fully qualified teacher with a number of years experience teaching in either schools, colleges or universities; or have appropriate academic qualifications and considerable previous experience working as a private tutor.
Independent tutors are required for face-to-face tutoring where you will visit the student’s home. If you are an inspirational teacher and have the ability to engage and relate well to the students you teach we would be delighted to receive your application.
Independent tutors set their own rates for teaching and are not required to pay commissions from this. You will have a self employed status, and are not required to sign any contract.
