This option is ideal for students that require help on an adhoc basis, such as a crash course right before an exam.

With the Pay-as-you-go plan you only pay for what you have used, after the lesson. You can book your lessons at any time that suits you, even at short notice. We ask that you set up an account using a debit or credit card and lesson fees are deducted the day following the lesson. All payments are processed through a secure Lloyds TSB payment system and your card details are not recorded on any Maths Doctor website.

You are free to cancel a lesson booking on the day before without any penalty, however same day cancellations are usually charged for in full: Although if a student contacts us on the day of a lesson to cancel because they are ill or have an “emergency” we would normally waive the lesson charge without fuss.

You can undertake the Pay-as-you-go service and then switch to a monthly plan at any time.
