We confirm the identity and address of all our tutors using verified photo IDs such as Passport, Driving Licence, or professional employment photo-cards.

All tutors require a CRB check which is verified by us. Where a new tutor does not already have such a check they will be invited to apply for one on joining Maths Doctor.

We verify the qualifications that a tutor has published on their profile.

Every tutor is required to provide a reference from either an employer, university professor or other recognised professional to confirm their suitability to work with children.

Tutors must agree to the Maths Doctor Terms of Service and adhere to the Tutor Code of Conduct.

Maths Doctor will collect feedback from students that we have referred and add them to an information file for each tutor which is available to be viewed by prospective clients.

Tutors who have satisfied all of these steps earn the status of Fully Verified Tutor. Where a tutor has not provided some aspects of the above or have certain items “in progress”, their profile will reflect this fact very clearly and parents will be required to acknowledge this before choosing to using such a tutor.
